The new Record Ultra Narrow chain from Campagnolo is narrower than the previous version. Now only 5.9mm wide and thanks to this dimension, they are lighter and quieter and the adjustment of the rear derailleur is easier.

The tests run in Campagnolo's laboratories show that traction force, pin retention force, wear, resistance to stretch, torsion and flexion are the same as for the traditional Record 10 speed chain.

All this increases outer link resistence whilst maintaining the resistance values and the type of surface treatment that ensures long-term shift precision.

Chain links and pins are hollow resulting in 255 grams for 114 links (2.24 grams/link).
