The Shamal™ Ultra™ wheels incorporate all the innovations of recent years to provide a product that provides high performance, great strength, and long life and reliability. Rims and spokes are constructed of aluminum alloy and have CNC machined sidewalls and lightened interspoke areas. Additionally, the rim is dynamically balanced between the rim joint and valve. Rim sections are 20mm front and 28.5mm rear with spokes that are fitted with inserts so they do not require rim strips. Both the spokes and nipples are aluminum alloy to provide rigidity, lightness and aerodynamics. The central hub bodies are carbon fiber composite with specially machined aluminum flanges and an aluminum alloy axle with adjustable ball bearings. The right-hand flange of the rear hub is oversize to maximize torsional rigidity. Included with the wheels are Campagnolo's Symmetric Action quick releases and wheel bags. 21 spokes (G3) rear, 16 spokes (radial) front. Campagnolo 9/10 700c clincher version only. The Shimano HG-10s can be special ordered.
